VAIL, Colo. – For the third consecutive week, NM State women's golf will compete in a new time zone. After kicking off the season in the eastern time zone (Pawley's Island, S.C.), the Aggies traveled to the central time zone (Madison, Wis.) to compete in the Badger Invitational. Now, the Aggies will remain in mountain time as they head to Vail, Colo. For the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.
 
As a team, the Aggies will be paired with No. 9 Pepperdine, UIC, and South Dakota State. The group will begin playing at 10:20 a.m. MT with Alison Gastelum getting things started for the Aggies. Last year in Vail, Gastelum carded a top-ten finish, tying for sixth with a 214 (-2).
 
Gastelum will be joined by Valentina Origel, Kaylee Chen, Angela Garvin, and Emma Bunch. On Wednesday, Bunch was named the Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week after her second straight runner-up finish
 
Isa Laulhé will be the first Aggie to compete in an event this season as an individual. Laulhé will tee off at 10:10 a.m. in a pairing with Yourong Chu (Pepperdine) and Jillian Hui (Boise State).

The Field
Golfweek will bring 16 teams to Vail for three days of competition. NM State will be joined by No. 9 Pepperdine, UIC, South Dakota State, Ball State, Boise State, Mercer, Arkansas State, UNCG, Murray State, Little Rock, Wofford, High Point, East Tennessee State, Central Arkansas, and Kennesaw State.

Format
On Monday, the field will compete for 36 holes, beginning with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. MT. The two-day event will conclude with 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
