VAIL, Colo. – Three Aggies remain inside the top 25 after the opening round, led by Alison Gastelum. As a team, the Aggies are tied for fourth place with Kennesaw State after shooting a 295 (+7) on Monday.
 
After a slow start to the season, Gastelum returned to her normal form on Monday. The senior shot a 71 (-1) to enter Tuesday's second round in a tie for tenth. Gastelum carded five birdies in the opening round, including three in a four-hole stretch.
 
Angela Garvin remains tied for 25th after the opening round, firing a 74 (+2). Garvin connected for four birdies throughout the round a quadruple-bogey on the sixth hole negated the birdies. Isa Laulhé also remains tied for 25th but is competing as an individual at the Red Sky Classic. Laulhé birdied twice on the front nine to finish the stretch at two-under.
 
The Aggies will be paired with Pepperdine, Arkansas State, and High Point on Tuesday. The group will tee off at 10:50 a.m. MT, beginning on hole one. Isa Laulhé will tee off at 11:50 a.m. MT in a pairing with Jillian Hui (Boise State) and Fehlid Graesel (Little Rock).
