LUBBOCK, Texas – NM State kicked off its spring season on Saturday night at the Lubbock Tennis Center where they battled with Big 12 foe Texas Tech. The night match would fall in favor of the Red Raiders as the Aggies fell 7-0 in the opener.
A tough matchup fell in favor of the opposition as Texas Tech earned the doubles point with wins in all three matches.
Newcomer
Gustavo Campos put up a fight at the number four spot – winning the opening set 6-1, however, Texas Tech's Jonas Gundacker bounced back to take the second set 6-4. Campos' play stayed steady in the tiebreaker, however, he ultimately fell 10-7 to give the Red Raiders their fourth singles point.
