LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Following a week in the spotlight at the NB3 Matchplay at Twin Warriors, the Aggie women's golf team will return to competition this Monday as it travels to Broken Arrow, Okla., for the Dale McNamara Invitational. The tournament hosted by the University of Tulsa will take place at Cedar Ridge Country Club.
Play is scheduled to open at 7:30 a.m. MT with the 16 competing teams set to play 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday that will also begin at 7:30 a.m. This will mark the first time that the Aggies return to the event since 2021 when they finish seventh among the 13-team field.
AGGIE LINEUP
NM State will be represented in the Sooner State by
Emma Bunch, Isa Laulhé,
Kaylee Chen,
Marley Moncada and
Angela Garvin. Of this group, Bunch, Chen and Moncada have played in each of the Aggies' three competitions thus far.
THE FIELD
NM State will join a competitive field which includes host Tulsa, fellow Conference USA members Kennesaw State and Sam Houston along with Arkansas, Oklahoma, BYU, Cal Poly, Rutgers, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Boise State, South Florida, Sam Houston, Tulane, UTSA and Abilene Christian. This field will feature a pair of programs that appeared in Golfweek's 2024-25 women's college golf preseason team rankings as Arkansas entered the year as the No. 5 ranked program and Oklahoma State was No. 30 on the initial rankings
THE COURSE
Cedar Ridge Country Club is a traditional, private membership, family oriented social and recreational organization whose purpose is to create a sense of community among its members by providing the highest quality products, programs, activities and services in a fiscally responsible manner. Upon completion, Cedar Ridge was rated among the top hundred courses by Golf Digest.
