ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Returning to the Albuquerque Convention Center for day two of the MLK Invitational, the Aggies competed in a trio of events.
Rebecca Green tallied the best performance of the day in the shot put with a mark of 15.64m, finishing third.
Track Headlines
A quartet of freshman made their first appearances in the mile run for NM State –
Trista Cordova,
Murrie Dodge,
Alexandra Ordaz and
Nya Valenzuela. Dodge finished first among Aggies with a time of 5:40.13. This became Valenzuela's first time competing during indoor competition.
Amanda Radava paced a trio of Aggies in the 800m run, recording a time of 2:16.86. New Mexico natives
Marlene Mosqueda (2:19.45) and
Angela Korte (2:20.98) rounded out the Aggie performers on the day.

Rebecca Green led the way for the Aggies in the shot put, posting a season-best mark of 15.64m (51-3.75") to finish third overall – the first top-three finish of the season for the Crimson & White.
