LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's golf team wrapped up the second round of the Golf Iconic Classic on Tuesday, maintaining their position in 10th place with a two-day total of 578 (+2) at their home course.
Through 36 holes, senior Isabel Laulhé and
Alexandria Armendariz lead the Aggies with each sitting at 143 (-1). Laulhé followed her opening-round 71 (-1) by shooting a 72 (E) on the second day of action, while Armendariz added a 74 (+2) to her first-round 69.
Rylee Salome made a strong move up the leaderboard with a 71 (-1), improving her total to 145 (+1) to advance 16 spots and into a tie for 37th.
Emma Thompson posted a 73 (+1) to bring her two-day score to 148 (+4), while
Sophia Luna carded a 76 (+4) to sit at 150 (+6).
In individual play,
Frederika Rychtarikova turned in a solid 73 (+1) to sit at 148 (+4), while
Marley Moncada recorded her second straight 75 (+3) for a total of 150 with 18 holes remaining.
Camille Pazouki finished the day at 152 (+8) after a second-round 78.
Boise State sits atop the team standings at 561 (-15), followed closely by UC Irvine (563) and Long Beach State (565). Northern Colorado's Samantha Colombine surged to the top of the individual leaderboard with a second-round 64 (-8), bringing her total to 135 (-9).
