The Grobina, Latvia, native earns the award for her impact on the Las Cruces Community.

DALLAS – On Friday, Conference USA announced its Fall CUSA Spirit of Service honorees. With one winner from each member of CUSA, senior Amanda Radava was named the representative from NM State. The CUSA Spirit of Service award "honors student-athletes with significant community service endeavors, good academic standing and participation in their sport."

This season, the Grobina, Latvia, native performed numerous acts of community service in the Las Cruces area, highlighted by the 'Dress a Child' campaign that helped dress and provide for 40 underprivileged children in the community.

Earlier this month, Radava was named to the CUSA All-Academic Team, holding a 3.94 GPA while majoring in kinesiology. As well, she was named a recipient of the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal, while earning a spot on the CUSA Academic Honor Roll list.

"I'm honored to be nominated for the CUSA Spirit of Service award. Giving back while growing as a student-athlete truly means a lot to me." said Radava.

During the 2025 season, Radava proved to be one of the Aggies' most reliable athletes, helping the Crimson & White secure team titles at the NM State-hosted Lori Fitzgerald Memorial Open and the Dave Murray Invitational – pacing the team at both meets. In Tucson, she took first overall with a time of 22:01.8 in the 6k. The senior also tallied a second-team All-CUSA selection at the 2025 CUSA Cross Country Championships, finishing 11th overall.

Radava and the Aggies will open their indoor track season in January at the Corky Classic hosted by Texas Tech.
