LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State's spring season rolls on as it is slated to play its second straight tournament in the state of Arizona. Less than one week removed from finishing second at the GCU Invitational, the Aggies will take part in the 45^th Annual Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate beginning Monday morning.
 
The tournament hosted by The University of Arizona is set to take place at Tucson Country Club. NM State will compete alongside 13 teams that features four teams inside the top 30 in the national rankings. The field will play two round on Monday before returning for a final round on Tuesday.

Dates: Monday, March 17 - Tuesday, March 18 (Two rounds Monday, one round Tuesday)

AGGIE LINEUP
The Aggies' travel squad will include Aidan Thomas, Javier Delgadillo, Mateo Payan, Ethan Klose, Alexandre Bauduin and Kostka Horno who will compete as an individual.
 
The five Aggies who will count towards the Aggies' team score this week also participated in the event last week in Phoenix. While playing in the GCU Invitational, the Aggies were led by Aidan Thomas and Alexandre Bauduin who each placed among the top 10. Thomas paced all Aggies as he finished 4-under to place in a tie for fourth. Meanwhile, Bauduin battled his way to a tie for 10^th as he ended the 54-hole event at even par.
 
True freshman Mateo Payan also secured a top 25 finish after finishing 3-over to log his fourth top 25 finish of his freshman campaign.
 
THE FIELD
NM State will compete in a stacked field of 14 total teams, including host Arizona, California, Hawaii, Long Beach State, Mississippi State, Northern Illinois, Oregon State, Utah, UTEP, Washington State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
