LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State will continue its spring season on Monday as they venture to Dade City, Fla., for the Spring Break Shootout. The event hosted by fellow Conference USA member Western Kentucky will take place at the South Course at Lake Jovita Golf Club.
 
Play is scheduled to open at 6:45 a.m. MDT with the teams set to play 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday that will also begin at 6:45 a.m.
 
Spring Break Shootout
Dates: Monday, March 17 - Tuesday, March 18 (Two rounds Monday, one round Tuesday)
Location: Dade City, Fla.
Course: Lake Jovita Golf Club
Par/Yardage: 71/6,076 yards
 
AGGIE LINEUP
NM State will be represented by Angela Garvin, Emma Bunch, Alexandria Armendariz, Kaylee Chen and Camille Pazouki. Of this group, Bunch, Chen and Garvin have played in each of the Aggies' six competitions thus far.
 
This is the same group that Head Coach Danny Bowen took to the Aggies' last event as the squad competed at the Riverbend Intercollegiate in Sugar Land, Texas, just last week. While in the Lone Star State, graduate student Angela Garvin and Emma Bunch led the way for NM State as both turned in top 10 finishes.
 
Garvin paced the Aggies with the second-best finish of her career as she shot 2-over to place in a tie for sixth place. Bunch followed closely behind as she submitted her 17^th consecutive top 25 finish and 11^th top 10 finish in her last 13 starts by shooting 4-over to end the week in a tie for ninth place. Alexandria Armendariz also turned in the best finish of her collegiate career – placing in a tie for 34^th (+15).
 
THE FIELD
NM State will compete in a field of 13 total teams, including host Western Kentucky, Bradley, Daytona State, Florida Gulf Coast, Illinois, Jacksonville State, Memphis, Nebraska, Seminole State, Stetson, St. Johns and Troy.
