NM State 2, McNeese State 4 
NM State came up short in a tightly contested match against McNeese today, falling 4-2 at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center. 

The Aggies started strong in doubles play, securing wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots to claim the early advantage. The tandem of Montana Parkinson-Lubold and Lisa Zhu edged Erica Hagi and Alexa Martinez 6-4, while Whitney Moon and Dora Kurdi delivered a 6-2 victory over Ana Hollweg and Elena Morales.  

In singles, Lisa Zhu continued her strong play, earning a straight-set victory over Erica Hagi at the No. 2 position, 6-1, 7-5. However, McNeese answered back with wins at No. 1, No. 5, and No. 6 to take control of the match. Despite a valiant three-set effort from Dora Kurdi at No. 4, McNeese secured the clinching point to seal the 4-2 win. Whitney Moon was locked in a three-set battle at No. 3 before the match was called unfinished. 

  
UP NEXT  
The Aggies will round out their Louisiana road trip with a matchup against conference foe LA Tech in Ruston. The first serve is set for 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.
