BATON ROUGE, La. – The Aggies arrived in Baton Rouge yesterday to battle in a one-day competition amongst eight other schools. Only seven of the Aggies' normal traveling squad was able to make the distant journey to the marshlands of Louisiana which included a hurdler, two long jumpers, and a handful of sprinters.
Track Headlines
Jhana Downie took home the highest place finish for the Aggies, coming across the line at 23.39 in the 200m, 6
th in the field.
Breanna Moss also had a strong showing on the track as she would finish the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.24. This was just two seconds off from her best tallied performance in outdoor season which she earned at Sun City Classic on April 11
th.
Field Headlines
Leading the Crimson and White on field events was
Cameron Hodges, who produced an eighth place over all finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.61m. With this finish, Hodges would earn a new personal best as an Aggie in this event.
UP NEXT
The Aggies will travel out to Tucson, AZ and participate in the Desert Heat Classic, hosted by Arizona Wildcats as they wrap up their regular outdoor season before the 2025 CUSA Outdoor Championships.
