MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – NM State returned to Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Complex for the second day of action from the 2025 Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, putting together a successful day on the track.
Alesha Lane recorded the first medal of the weekend for the Aggies, and six Aggies qualified for Sunday's finals, joined by the five Aggies who advanced from Friday.

Track Headlines
A trio of Aggies competed in the 800m to open Saturday's action, with
Marlene Mosqueda leading the pack with a personal best time of 2:10.95 seconds, taking sixth in preliminary competition.
Angela Korte advanced to Sunday's final in the event for the first time in her Crimson & White career with a time of 2:12.02.
Jahnya Hill rounded out the NM State trio in the event with a time of 2:16.30.
NM State earned a pair of entries in the final round of the 400m hurdles following a pair of top performances from seniors
Breanna Moss and
Mickaliliah Vassell. Moss took third overall with a mark of 1:00.10, while Vassell recorded a season-best time of 1:01.50 to take fourth.
Senior
Jhana Downie and freshman
Sahara Tasker paced the Aggies in the 200m, advancing to the final round on Sunday with times of 23.74 and 23.85, respectively.
Jaylah McDonnell joined Tasker in setting personal bests, recording a time of 24.00.
Sierra Brewer finished with a time of 24.31 to close her Saturday ahead of competing in the 100m finals, the 4x100 and the 4x400 on Sunday.
Ending the night on the track,
Jordan Torres and
Murrie Dodge took to the 3000m steeplechase, with Torres taking ninth with a time of 11:08.86. Dodge took part in her first championship meet with the Crimson & White, posting a new personal best of 11:23.67.
Field Headlines
Alesha Lane and
Kamryn Cadle opened day two for the Crimson & White, taking part in the shot put. Both advanced to finals while Lane, a junior from Casper, Wyo., finished third overall with a mark of 14.30 meters (46-11"). At the 2025 CUSA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Lane posted a similar bronze-medal finish, sharing the podium with fellow Aggie
Rebecca Green.
Kamryn Cadle finished fifth in the event with a mark of 14.18m (46-6.25"), her best finish in the championship format, to tally a quartet of points. In total, the duo combined to add 10 points to the NM State tally.
Aileen Alvarado competed as the lone Aggie in the high jump, finishing with a mark of 1.57m (5-1.75").
