CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A handful of Aggies have been recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for their accomplishments in the classroom.
Emma Bunch,
Angela Garvin,
Kaylee Chen,
Camille Pazouki and Isa Laulhe were each named to the 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team, the association announced on Monday.
In total, 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season. Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
This year's five selections tie with last year's group of honorees for the most in program history while signifying the 18th consecutive season with at least one WGCA Scholar All-American.
For two Aggies, this becomes the third time they garner this award. The 2024-25 selection marks the third time for juniors
Emma Bunch and
Kaylee Chen. Additionally,
Angela Garvin and Isa Laulhe are now two-time honorees
