Doyle joins the Crimson & White as the final addition to the 2025-26 roster.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - NM State has now completed its 2025-26 roster with the addition of forward Amarco Doyle, who joins the Aggies after spending last season with Southern Idaho.

Amarco Doyle | So. | F | 6-7 | Queensland, Australia | The Southport School | Southern Idaho

Last season, Doyle appeared in 30 games for the Golden Eagles, earning 21 starts. He led the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game while also contributing 5.9 rebounds. He was efficient across the board, shooting 55% from the field, an impressive 50% from three, and 75 percent at the free-throw line. His efficiency from long-range ranked him second in the nation in three-point field goal percentage as he knocked down 56-112 attempts.

Doyle's performance earned him SWAC First Team All-Conference honors as he helped guide CSI to the Region 18 Championship game. Over the course of the season, he scored in double figures 22 times, including nine games with 20 or more points. His best outing came against Salt Lake Community College when he poured in a season-high 27 points on 7-14 shooting. Against St. Legends, he delivered his top three-point shooting night, draining seven of his nine attempts from beyond the arc.

Before his time in the States, Doyle competed for the U-20 and U-18 Queensland state teams, winning a silver medal at the Australian National Championships. He also excelled in the NBL system, being named NBL U-23 Player of the Year with the Mackay Meteors.

QUOTABLE | Head Coach Jason Hooten

"We feel truly fortunate to add Amarco at this stage of the recruiting process. His ability to shoot the three at an elite level is exactly what we needed at that position. Combined with his basketball IQ, experience, and floor-stretching ability, Amarco gives us another key piece to round out our roster. Heading into the season, I believe we now have every facet covered."
