PROVO, Utah – NM State wrapped up play at the ITA Mountain Regional on Saturday morning, finishing a strong week that included the tandem of Nadia Nemeth and Whitney Moon winning three matches to advance to the semifinals in the doubles draw. This marks the furthest any Aggie has ever gone at the annual event.
 
Moon and Nemeth opened their week with an 8-6 win over UNLV's duo of Sofiia Sokolvak and Kaho Oyama before taking down Tereza Polakova and Paula Schaefer of Boise State by a score of 8-4 in the quarterfinals. On Friday, the duo continued its impressive run with an 8-6 win over Chelsea Bluestein and Yu-Yun Chen of host BYU to advance to the semifinals. Eventually, the pair fell in a hard-fought match against Nevada's Nikol Mircheva and Hudson Hawkins, dropping the match by a score of 7-6 (8-6), 1-6 [8-10].
 
In singles action, Anna Klimova led the way for the Crimson and White, picking up a total of three wins in singles play. This included a pair of wins to reach the quarterfinals in qualifying as she defeated Maya Inouye of Utah Tech (6-4, 6-1) and Kaho Oyama of UNLV (6-4, 7-6 (7-2)). Later, Klimova would also pick up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Utah Tech's Sophie Dowdell.
 
Nadia Nemeth added to her success on the week as she earned a victory over Montana State's Stela Sifuentes, winning 6-1, 6-2.
 
Meghna Anand also tallied another singles victory for the Aggies, defeating Montana's Paige Bott in straight sets by a score of 6-1, 6-4.
