Box Score ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – NM State traveled north to the Albuquerque Convention Center for the third consecutive meet, closing out the regular season at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
FRIDAY
Alesha Lane tallied her fourth top-three finish of the 2026 season and recorded a third-place finish in the weight throw, posting a best mark of 18.22 meters.
Kamryn Cadle 15.71m (51-5") finished second among Aggies, with freshmen
Avery Jordan (15.11m) and
Julia Nystrand (15.02m) right behind – as each posted significant personal bests.
Aileen Alvarado notched a season-best mark of 1.61m (5-3.25") high jump, nearly matching her indoor best of 1.62m.
Cameron Hodges recorded the top mark among Aggies in the long jump (5.35m), while
Aja Johnson posted a mark of 5.15m.
Marlee Cavitt showed improvement in the 200m for the second straight week, finishing sixth overall in the unseeded competition with a mark of 23.78 seconds – the third fastest 200m time in program history.
Sophomore
Jaylah McDonnell posted a season-best time of 24.28, while
Alyssa Crump posted a new personal best of 24.60.
Jordan Torres recorded the top time among Aggies, posting a season best and altitude-adjusted time of 10:09.48 to take ninth overall.
Trista Cordova recorded a new personal best time of 10:25.00@, while
Ainsleigh Kasprick (10:32.82@) also notched a new top mark in the event.
Abigail Beam made her season debut (10:58.19@).
Running unattached,
Nia Allison finished third overall in the 3000m, with a time of 9:55.65@.
Kennedy Taylor made her debut in the 400m, the lone Aggie to compete in the event this season.
Marlene Mosqueda tallied the top finish for the Aggies in the 600m run, taking third with a time of 1:32.27 – the fastest NM State time in the event since at least 2010.
Eloïse Stuart tallied a time of 1:34.88 to take seventh, with
Angela Korte joining Mosqueda and Stuart in the top-10 with a mark of 1:35.99 to take eighth. Adéla Steinsová finished 12
th with a time of 1:37.31, as all four recorded new personal bests.
SATURDAY
Alesha Lane led the Aggies in the shot put to begin Saturday, finishing eighth with a mark of 14.21m. This becomes the senior's seventh top-10 finish of 2026.
Julia Nystrand improved in the event at each meet during the regular season, culminating in a personal best mark of 12.95m.
Sara McKee paced the Aggies in the 60m hurdles, posting a new personal best time of 8.82 seconds.
Marlee Cavitt posted a sixth-place finish in the 60m dash, recording a new NM State best of 7.48 to tie her with
Jhana Downie for the third-fastest time in program history.
Running unattached once again on Saturday,
Nia Allison took first place in the mile run with a mark of 4:50.84@.
Jordan Torres tallied the fastest time among NM State entrants, posting a time of 5:04.87@ to take 11
th overall.
Trista Cordova (5:15.71@),
Murrie Dodge (5:18.71@) and
Brooke Kelly (5:19.12@) notched personal bests in the event.
Abigail Beam made her event debut, finishing with a time of 5:31.50@.
Marlene Mosqueda improved to a time of 2:10.61@ (fourth place overall) to lead the Crimson & White in the 800m, retaining her spot in third place in the NM State record books.
The quartet of
Julissa Daniels,
Alyssa Crump, Adéla Steinsová and
Angela Korte competed in the 4x400m relay to close the Aggies' regular season.
