New Mexico State University Athletics

2014-15 (Freshman): Hardin participated in 13 games during her freshman campaign.  Her best game came versus Northern New Mexico where she marked a season-high 12 points and two rebounds.  During that game Hardin shot 4-of-9 from the field including 3-of-8 from 3-point range.

High School: Hardin spent four years at Monache High School. She played all four seasons as a Marauder, leading her team to four winning seasons and four-consecutive East Yosemite League championship titles and two California Central Section DII championships. Monache went 51-1 in EYL play during Hardin’s four seasons. 

During her senior year, Hardin averaged 19.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 5.9 steals and 3.0 blocks. She was league MVP, an all-county first team selection by the Visalia Times Delta and was an all-section first team pick by the Fresno Bee. Hardin was inducted into the Monache High School Hall of Fame. She played her AAU Club Basketball with JBS Elite from Sacramento and coach Sean Chambers.  Besides basketball, Hardin also exceled on the volleyball and track and field teams.

Personal: Hardin is the daughter of John and Jowayne Hardin.  She will major in kinesiology while at NM State in hopes of eventually becoming a physical or sports therapist.  Hardin enjoys horseback riding in her spare time.
