2014 (Junior): Nash led the Aggies in attacking with 233 kills… Was first on the team with 22 service aces… Posted four double-doubles throughout the season (kills and digs)… Was one of the three Aggies to finish the season with 200 digs… Recorded first double-double of the season at Utah where she tallied 13 kills and 10 digs… Best hitting performance came in a shutout win against Radford where she finished with a season-high .500 hitting percentage… Tallied a season-high 15 kills at Utah Valley and against Missouri-Kansas City… In the WAC tournament semifinal against eventual champion Bakersfield, collected 11 kills while garnering a season-high three service aces… Finished the season with 11 double-digit kill matches.
2013 (SOPHOMORE): Named to the 2013 WAC All-Tournament team … played her first full season this year, playing in all 33 matches … had eight double-doubles on the year, averaging 2.03 kills per set and 2.57 digs per set … ranked third among the Aggies with 244 kills on the season … second on the team in digs 308 total (2.57 digs per set) ... posted five solo blocks and 57 block assists for the year … Posted a season-high .462 hitting percentage versus Seattle U (Oct. 6, 2013) … Set her career-high for digs against Idaho (Nov. 26, 2013) with 23 and also a career-high 41 attempts in the same match.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 98 sets and becoming one of the most complete players on the NM State roster … Finished the season ranked among the top Aggie players in many categories including: fifth in kills (118) and points (358), tied for third in total blocks (65), sixth in digs (99) and seventh in service aces (9) … One of only four Aggie players to have at least one double-double during the season … Versus Idaho (Nov. 21) when she finished with 11 kills and 14 digs … Was the only Aggie player to finish the tournament with double figures in three different categories … Finished the WAC tournament with 20 total kills, 27 total digs and 10 total blocks in three games.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Played in two sets against No. 5 Nebraska before she suffered a season-ending knee injury in the third set of five on Aug. 26 … Aggies were up 2-0 before Nash suffered the injury and lost the match 3-2 as her injury seemed to deflate the Aggies momentum … She tallied eight kills, six digs and a service ace … Was awarded a medical redshirt after her injury.
HIGH SCHOOL: Joined the Aggies after graduating from Monument Valley High School ... Played volleyball under her mother Lucinda Nash from 2008-10 … Led her team to a 40-0 record in 2010 and led the way to four state championships … Two-time 3A North Player of the Year, while being named to the Arizona Republic all-state team and a four-time all-conference selection … Wrapped up her career with a 159-4-3 record in high school ... Not only is she athletic but she was also in the top 10 of her class academically and was the National Honor Society Co-President at her school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Robert and Lucinda Nash … Was born in Farmington, N.M. … Majoring in chemistry … Played for the NM State women’s basketball team during the 2013-14 season. She saw action in 15 games and averaged 3.5 points per game while finishing the year with 69 rebounds and 12 blocks … was a part of the 2014-15 NM State women’s basketball team that reached the NCAA Tournament and won the WAC Title
