2016 (RS-Junior)
Earned All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mentions after firing 16 touchdowns through the air, four on the ground with 2,603 passing yards… Finished the season third in career passing (6,356), touchdowns (42) and total offense (6,955)… Also ended the season fourth in total touchdowns (50) and second in completions (564)… His 2,603 passing yards placed him eighth on the single-season while his 224 completions ranked him seventh… started the season with seven-straight games of 200-plus yards thrown… Threw for 445 yards with one touchdown at Troy… Became just the third player in 2016 to have caught, thrown and rushed for a touchdown in a single-game against Texas State (11/19).
2015 (Junior)
Played in four games and started each before being sidelined due to injury… Completed 72-of-135 passes for 974 yards and seven touchdowns… Went 31-of-55 for a career-high 445 yards and three touchdowns against Georgia State (9/12)… Racked up 66 rushing yards and one touchdown on 29 rushes.Â
2014 (Sophomore)
Played in 12 games and made 11 starts… Racked up 2,979 yards of total offense for 248.2 yards per game to rank fourth in conference games… Averaged 231.6 passing yards per game to rank fourth in the Sun Belt… Completed 268 of 436 passing attempts for 2,779 yards and 19 touchdowns to rank eighth in the conference in passing efficiency… Threw for a career-high 36 completions out of 52 attempts for 404 yards against Texas State (Nov. 1)… One of just four conference quarterbacks to amass 400 or more passing yards in a single game… Also had career-long completion of 86 yards at Texas State… The 436 pass attempts is the fifth most passing attempts at NM State, while the 268 completions is the fourth most completed passes… The 2,779 passing yards ranks sixth for the Aggies… Also rushed for 200 yards on 69 carries and two touchdowns.
2013 (Arizona Western)Â
Played one season at Arizona Western as quarterback… Threw for 1,832 yards and 14 touchdowns with just seven interceptions… Ran for 364 yards and a team-best 10 touchdowns… Missed two and a half games at the end of the season, but dressed for the Fisher Automotive El Toro Bowl.
High School
Started at quarterback for Liberty HS for four years and led team to three league championships… Threw for 5,903 yards over his career, which included 76 touchdown passes… Ran for 1,691 yards and 26 touchdowns… As a senior, was the League Player of the Year and the District Player of the Year… Was also selected as to First Team All-Section and Second Team All-State… Was one of two quarterbacks from Arizona chosen to play in the California vs. Arizona All-Star Game.
