2018-19: Started in 23-of-30 games he played in as an Aggie…named Second-Team All-WAC for the second time in his career after averaging 9.9 points with 7.1 boards with a .632 shooting clip – which is good for second-best in the league…has now helped NM State claim two-straight regular-season titles, three-straight tournament titles and three NCAA Tournament berths….became the 35th player in Aggie history to join the 1,000 points club against UTRGV at home (opened the season with 6 points and 5 rebounds against North Dakota State (11/6) and followed with 11 points and 6 rebounds against Battle of I-10 rival UTEP (11/9)…had a double-double against Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico at home with 13 points and 10 rebounds…dropped 18 points against Northern Colorado (12/17) and followed with 10 point and 9 rebounds against CSUN (12/19)…had a double-double in win over Washington State for the second time in December with 11 points and 12 rebounds…recorded three-straight double-doubles against CSU Bakersfield (1/12), at Seattle U (1/17) and at Utah Valley (1/19)…poured in 20 points with 14 rebounds against UVU on the road to snap their home winning-streak...had 10 point and 6 rebounds in the next game against UTRGV (1/26) on the road…dominated UVU (2/14) at home with 21 points and 10 rebounds…had four-straight games in double-figures capped off with 14 points and 6 rebounds against Chicago State (3/14) in the quarterfinals of #WACvegas…scored six points with five rebounds against #5 Auburn (3/21) in his final game as an Aggie at the NCAA Tournament.

2017-18: Helped guide NM State to its 21st NCAA Tournament appearance…led the Aggies to their third WAC regular-season title in four years with 12-2 finish as well as its eighth WAC Tournament title...came off the bench this season and saw action in 33-of-34 games…finished the year averaging 8.3 points, 4.8 rebounds with a .505 shooting clip as a redshirt junior…had 13 points with six rebounds at then-No. 21/22 Saint Mary’s (11/13)…followed up with 13 points and seven rebounds with 5-of-8 shooting from the free-throw line against New Mexico (11/17)…had a season-high 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting with four boards against Colorado State (11/22)…grabbed a season-high nine rebounds to go with five points against San Diego (12/6)…posted double-digit points in four-straight games, starting with 16 points and seven rebounds at CSU Bakersfield (1/13)…pulled down a season-high tying nine rebounds at Seattle U (2/17)…tallied 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting on senior night against UMKC (2/24).

2016-17: Had a breakout sophomore season, earning Second-Team All-WAC honors after averaging 12.4 points and 8.9 rebounds as well as a 14.1 point average and 9.9 rebounds per game during league play…was also named to the All-WAC Tournament team…was a key member in NM State’s historic 22-game win-streak…helped guide Aggies to the WAC Tournament title and their 20th NCAA Tournament appearance…led the WAC with a 61-percent shooting clip while his 8.9 boards per game was good for third in the league…his 15 double-doubles ranked him 26th in the country at season’s end…opened the season with a double-double against Arizona Christian (11/11), scoring 13 points with 12 rebounds...reached double-figures in 12-straight games…pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds against New Mexico (12/10)…matched career-high 14 rebounds versus CSU Bakersfield (1/14)…ended the regular-season with a career-high 28 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 14-of-18 night at the free-throw line at UT Rio Grande Valley (3/4)…posted 16 points against CSUB (3/11) in the WAC Tournament Championship game…tallied 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting with six boards against No. 3-seed Baylor at the NCAA Tournament.

2015-16: Saw action in 21-of-34 games off the bench as a redshirt freshman…averaged 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds during that stretch and shot .556 from the field…dropped 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting in his collegiate debut against Houston Baptist (11/13) at home…also pulled down four boards with two steals and one assists in his first collegiate game…recorded his first-career double-double three games later against Mississippi Valley State with 15 points and 10 boards on 7-of-9 shooting…scored in five-straight games in the month of December…hit a pair of free-throws for his points in Western Athletic Conference play at Utah Valley (1/7)...scored in his fourth WAC game at home versus Seattle U (2/20), registering five points on 3-of-4 shooting from the charity stripe.

High School: Came out of Redlands East Valley High School with plenty of honors…earned All-California Intercollegiate Federation Southern Section Division 2A First-Team honors as a junior and second-team honors as a senior…was named to the CalHiSports.com All-State Division II team…selected First-Team All-Citrus Belt League his last two seasons with the Wildcats…tabbed Redlands Daily Facts boys player of the year during his senior campaign after leading REVHS to its second-straight Citrus Belt League title…averaged a double-double his senior season with 24.7 points and 11.4 rebounds on top of his 1.6 blocks, 1.7 steals and 2.0 assists per game…in his first season of playing high school basketball as a junior, Chuha averaged 14.2 points and a school record 13.3 boards per game while averaging 2.0 blocks and wrapped up his two-year prep career shooting 55.8-percent from the field.
 
Personal: Son of Edrik Townsend and Jennifer Hollis…has an older sister, Hannah, and a younger sister Nadia…also have two younger brothers, Noah and Chris…majoring in individualized studies.
