Biography
2017-18: Helped guide NM State to its 21st NCAA Tournament appearance…led the Aggies to their third WAC regular-season title in four years with 12-2 finish as well as its eighth WAC Tournament title...started in all 34 games he saw action in…tallied 14 points with five rebounds, two assists and two blocks as well as a steal in win at home against New Mexico (11/17)…reached double-figures in scoring in back-to-back contests against UTEP at home, 13 and 10 respectively…posted 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting – including three from downtown in loss to San Diego (12/6)…followed with 13 points, four rebounds and two steals with a 7-of-7 night at the free throw line against then No. 6/7 Miami…notched 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting with two steals at UC Irvine (12/28)…dropped a season-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting with four 3-pointers in dominant victory over Utah Valley (1/20)…tallied 15 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the line against Chicago State.
2016-17: Started in the first nine games of the season before sitting out the remainder of the season due to a foot injury…left the floor averaging 13.7 points with a .494 shooting clip and 2.7 rebounds per game…dropped a career-high 26 points against Bethune-Cookman (11/20) at home on 9-of-13 shooting…scored 15 points and 18 points against Air Force (11/30) and Long Beach State (12/3), respectively, before missing the remainder of the season.
2015-16: Saw the hardwood floor 28 times last season, averaging 11 minutes as a redshirt freshman…wrapped up his first season averaging 3.9 points and 1.5 rebounds with a .410 shooting-percentage and 1.1 assist-to-turnover ratio…scored four points in his first collegiate game against Houston Baptist (11/13) at home…started a seven-game scoring streak in his first Western Athletic Conference game against Utah Valley (1/7) on the road with 14 points and five boards on 5-of-12 shooting…followed up with another 14 points at Grand Canyon (1/9) behind 4-of-6 shooting, two of which came from downtown…picked up his third double-digit scoring game against Chicago State (1/16) at home…picked up a season-best seven boards on the defensive glass against Utah Valley (2/6) at home…hit 3-of-3 from the field, two of which were 3-pointers, in his first NIT appearance against Saint Mary’s on the road.
2014-15: Redshirted.
High School: Originally committed to Texas A&M before transferring to NM State…named second-team all-state by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches for independent teams while at West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Fla….was 3-star recruit coming out of high school according to 247Sports.com, Rivals and ESPN…helped guide the Flames to back-to-back state playoff appearances…had single-game highs of 31 points and 18 assists while at West Oaks Academy…was named Most Outstanding International Player at the 2013 ADIDAS Nations tournament in Orange County, Calif., where he ran the point for Team Africa…earned all-tournament honors at the Netscouts National Prep School Invitational after averaging 21 points and 4.3 dimes over four games.
Personal: Son of Abdoulaye N'Dir and Amy Tall…father is a basketball coach overseas…lived in Senegal until moving to France in the 1980s...has two younger sisters, Latifa and Fatou…majoring in business administration.
