2015-16 (South Plains College): Started in 14-of-24 games for South Plains College where he averaged 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds…shot 58.4-percent from the floor as a sophomore and 78.9-percent from the line…recorded double-digit points in half of the games he played in…scored 23 points against Murray State College (11/28) on 10-of-13 shooting with 11 boards and five blocks…matched his season-high of 23 points against Western Texas College (1/25), shooting 9-of-13 from the floor with four rebounds, two assists and three blocks… dropped a new season-high 26 points and 14 rebounds against Hill College (3/2) on 10-of-11 shooting in the NJCAA Region V tournament.
 
2014-15 (South Plains College): Jones started played in 29 total games for the Texans while starting in 14 as he led South Plains College to the NJCAA National Championship game as a freshman…averaged 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds that year as SPC went 29-7 overall on the year and 13-3 in conference play, taking runner-up honors in the national championship game where he scored nine points on 3-of-4 shooting…scored his first basket against Weatherford College (11/1) and finished with five points…followed up with a dozen points against Trinity Valley Community College (11/2)…dropped a career-high 30 points to go with 10 rebounds against Marshalltown Community College (11/14) on 11-of-17 shooting and 8-for-8 effort at the charity stripe…scored 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting the next day against Indian Hills Community college (11/15)…netted 17 points and pulled down seven boards in the NJCAA semifinal game against Hill College (3/20).
 
High School: A four-year letter winner at Orr High School…led the Spartans to their second-straight season with 20-plus wins with a 25-4 overall record his senior year…guided OHS to a the state semifinals his junior and senior campaigns…helped Spartans to a league title as a junior with a undefeated league run in league play (8-0), earning all-region and all-conference honors.
