2018-19: Saw action in 25 games this season as a reserve off the bench, averaging 4.5 points and 3.8 boards…scored 7 points in his debut in the Crimson & White against North Dakota State (11/6)…had 9 points and 9 rebounds at Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico…pulled down 10 rebounds with 6 points against Chicago State (2/2)…had 6 points with a season-high 11 rebounds against Texas A&M International at home…recorded a season-high 14 points with 7 rebounds at Chicago State (3/2).
 
2017-18 (Marshalltown CC): Had a breakout sophomore campaign, averaging 19.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists while leading Marshalltown CC to another National Junior College Athletic Association Tournament appearance…named NJCAA Third-Team All-American for his efforts as well as First-team All-Region XI honors…was ranked the sixth-ranked JUCO recruit according to JucoRecruiting.com…started the season with 19 points and 16 rebounds against Graceland University JV (11/2)…opened the year with 13-straight games with double-digit scoring and finished the season with 16-straight contests with 10-plus scoring…tallied a career-high 37 points at Highland (IL) on 13-of-24 shooting – eighth of which came from 3-point range…tied his career-high in rebounds with 18 against Simpson College JV (1/22)...wrapped up the year with 14 double-doubles while also posting 15 games with 20-plus points and three games with 30-plus points.
 
2016-17 (Marshalltown CC): Averaged 14.2 points and 10.1 rebounds with a .311 shooting clip from beyond the arc…earned Honorable Mention All-Region XI accolades his first season at Marshalltown CC…scored eight points with four rebounds in his collegiate debut against Quakerdale Prep Academy (11/1) and followed up with five-straight games with double-digit points…tallied his first-career double-double in his second game of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Clarke JV (11/4)…poured in a season-high 34 points on 13-of-17 shooting against Iowa Central (12/15)…pulled down a season-high 18 rebounds at Southeastern (2/1) and followed up with another 18-rebound night against Quakerdale Prep Academy (2/8)…finished the year with 15 games with double-digit rebounds while starting in 28-of-29 games he saw action in.

Personal: Son of Assane Thiam and Fatou Kine Ba...has two older brothers, Abdoulaye and Pape Momar, a younger brother, Issa, and younger sister, Mareme...father Assane competed played basketball for the Senegal national team in the 1972 Munich Olympics...brother Abdoulaye participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics with Senegal in fencing and currently coaches at the Lyons Fencing Club...brother Issa is a sophomore on the Rutgers men's basketball team.
