Junior (2014): Conard appeared in 15 games and started in 12 for the Aggies in 2014. He finished the season with a 4-3 record and a 4.66 ERA. Conard was second on the team in wins (4), strikeouts (49), and innings pitched (67.2). He allowed 35 earned runs and 27 walks. Conard’s best performance came against Utah Valley where he pitched 7.1 innings, tallied 7 strikeouts and finished with a 5.01 ERA. Conard’s record in conference was 2-1 with 37 innings pitched and 29 strikeouts. Conard added 14 assists on five putouts on defense.  

Prior to NM State: Conard pitched for two seasons (2012-13) at Oxnard College in Oxnard, Calif.  In 2013, he finished with a 6-3 record including five complete games for the Condors.  Conard had a 1.66 ERA in 86.2 innings pitched and was named the Oxnard College Pitcher of the Year while also being honored on the all-conference first team.

High School: Conard graduated from Royal High School, located in Simi Valley, Calif., in 2010.  He played baseball for the Highlanders during his junior and senior years, mainly playing the infield but also doing some pitching.  Conard hit over .300 during both seasons he played baseball while also accumulating 36 RBIs and three home runs.  His junior year he was an All-Marmonte League Honorable Mention selection.  After his senior year, he was awarded the team’s Highlander Award for leadership and performance en route to leading the team to a league championship.  Conard was also a scholar-athlete both seasons he played baseball.

Personal: Conard is the son of Jon and Martha Conard and is majoring in individualized studies at NM State.
