Biography

Red Shirt Junior:  Collins made 19 appearances during the 2012 season for the Aggies, including nine starts, and went 4-4 on the season.  He pitched 60.1 innings, which ranked fourth among pitchers on the team.

Junior: Collins did not play during the 2011 season.

Junior College: Collins pitched in 14 games for South Mountain Community College and started in 11 during the 2010 season.  He tallied a 3-3 record while racking up 66 innings of work and marking 64 strikeouts.  He finished the year with a 4.09 ERA while allowing 30 earned runs and only 24 walks.

High School: Collins attended and played basketball at Cactus High School in Glendale Arizona where he led his team to a state championship.

Personal: Collins is the son of James and Sherri Collins. He was born in Phoenix, Ariz. and is obtaining a bachelor's of individualized studies.
