New Mexico State University Athletics

Junior:  Hill made 10 appearances on the mound for the Aggies in 2009 working a total of 19.0 innings.  He picked up 15 strikeouts with his season-high of four strikeouts coming in his first appearance, which was against North Dakota (2/21).  That day, NM State won 12-6.  He earned win No. 1 when he threw a season-high 4.1 innings against Chicago State (2/28) and struck out three batters.  He threw another 4.1 innings against Hartford (3/8) and walked only one batter as the Aggies won 12-11.  His second win came against Sul Ross State (3/17) when NM State won 20-3.

Junior College: Hill attended Iowa Western Community College from 2006-07. During his freshman season, Hill helped IWCC to a 42-15 record and a conference and regional championship title by maintaining a 2.16 ERA. The team finished tenth in the country and made an appearance in the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series.  After the 2007 season, Hill transferred to Texarkana College in Texarkana, Tex. As a pitcher, he helped his team to place third in the Region 14 conference.  He had five saves during the 2008 season.

High School: Hill went to Yale Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Colombia.  In 2006, Hill and his team took fourth in their conference. He was invited to play with the Junior National Team in Canada and made the Slam Baseball Canada Draft List.  In 2006 he held a 1.07 ERA which helped his team to a 37-13 record.

Personal: Hill is the son of Patricia Hill and was born in Abbotsford, BC.  He is majoring in education and physical education.
