He tallied 50 strikeouts on the year and had a season-high seven strikeouts against Missouri (2/21) in Tucson, Ariz.  Reid worked a season-high seven complete innings at Sacramento State (4/23).  That day he gave up two runs, while only one of those runs was earned as the Aggies defeated the Hornets 4-2 and Reid took his record to 5-1.  Reid had a no-decision, when he threw 6 2/3 innings in game two of the double header at Hawai'i (5/14).  He gave up only one run that day and didn't walk a single batter while striking out four.   Reid finished the season with a 6.38 ERA, 50 K's, while posting only 13 walks and four wild pitches, as he was showing great command all year.

He led the team in innings pitched, strikeouts and wins both years he played at NEO A&M.

High School: Reid didn't play baseball, but did play football for Fredericton High School where he led his team to an 8-1 record in 2005 and a 9-1 record in 2006.  His team was Provincial Champions in 2005 and runners-up in 2006, while he was a two-time all star.  He was named 2005 Special Teams Player of the Year and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2006.
