Biography

Junior College:  Heinemann played baseball for the Everett Trojans for two years before coming to NMSU.  He hit a double and drove in a run in each game of the doubleheader against Yakima Valley College game.  He had two doubles and three RBI vs. Douglas College.  Heinemann went 5-of-7 with three doubles and four RBI in the doubleheader sweep at Douglas College, and hit two home runs and drove in five runs vs. Shoreline Community College.  He had single, a double and RBI at Shoreline in Game #1 and added a single, double and two RBI in Game #2.  At Skagit Valley, Heinemann had a single and a double with two RBI.  He had two singles vs. Skagit Valley Community College.  He also had a single and a double to go along with three RBI vs. Edmonds Community College.  At Douglas College, he went 4-5 with two doubles and four RBI, and had three hits and RBI vs. Tacoma Community College.   He had two doubles at Bellevue Community College and a single, triple and RBI.  He was 2-2 at Bellevue Community College.  Heinemann also played summer ball with the Everett Merchants where he hit .346 in 24 games with four doubles and 13 RBI. He started all three games in the 2006 NWAACC tournament in the left field, threw out potential game winning run at home plays versus Lower Columbia to help save the game.  He collected the only hit of the tournament vs. Mt. Hood.  In his sophomore year, he went 2-5 with a double and RBI at Olympic College.  He was 3-5 with a double and 2 RBI at Olympic College.  At Linn-Benton, he had a double and a single, and singled twice and stole a base at Chemeketa.  Heinemann also had two singles at Mt. Hood and had a pinch hit RBI double vs. Kwantlen College.  He went 4-6 and RBI at Edmonds Community College.  He had two hits vs. Edmond, and had a pair of singles and two RBI at Shoreline.  He was 4-5 with two doubles at Shoreline and was 2-5 with a double vs. Skagit Valley College.  He had two doubles vs. Pierce College.  In addition, he collected two hits, and was 3-5 at Olympic College. 

 

High School:  Heinemann played two seasons of varsity baseball for coach Kim Hammons at Snohomish High School.  He was team captain his senior year as well as named WESCO First Team Outfielder, All-Area First Team Outfielder, All-State Team, and the Cascase Classic All-Sate Team.  In his junior year he led the team in batting and was named offensive MVP and Most Improved Played. He was also named WesCo Second Team Outfielder and All-Area Second Team.  He also played for the Snohomish Pilchuckers Senior American Legion team which was district champions and finished third in state. 

 

Personal:  Heinemann is the son of Jeff and Kim Heinemann and was born in Everett, Washington.  He is majoring in Criminal Justice.
