Junior: Neptune red shirted his first year at NM State.

Junior College: Neptune played two years of junior college baseball at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College located in Miami, Okla. (2009-10).  In his first year playing for NEO Neptune made a team-high 14 appearances and accumulated 30 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched.  The following year (2010) he finished the season with a 5-1 record and led the team with 55 strikeouts in 52.2 innings pitched.  NEO won their conference title and Neptune was selected as a second-team all-conference member.

High School: Neptune graduated from Bartlesville High School in Bartlesville, Okla., in 2007.  He played two years of baseball for the Bruins.  During his senior year Neptune was selected to play in the East/West All-Star Game and also made the all-conference team.

Personal: Neptune is the son of John and Cindy Neptune.  He was born and raised in Bartlesville, Okla.  He is working towards a bachelor's degree in individualized studies.  He hopes to one day become a professional baseball player and then work in sports broadcasting.
