Biography

High School: Josh Watson comes to NM State after playing football and baseball at Las Cruces High School in Las Cruces, N.M. He was a utility player in 2010 and a centerfielder in 2011 helping the Bulldogs to a district championship during his senior year.  Watson was named to the all-district team as an infielder in 2010 and as a centerfielder in 2011.  He also earned a trip to the New Mexico North-South All-Star Game as a centerfielder in 2011.  Watson helped the Bulldog football team to district championships in 2009 and 2010 as a wide receiver.

Personal: Watson is the son of Brian and Julie Watson and was born in Las Cruces, N.M. He is majoring in business management.
