Biography

2004 (Senior): Quaempts is a mid-year transfer that looks to contribute to the Aggie pitching staff.

2003 (Junior): Justin pitched 11 innings at Oklahoma State last year after recovering from Tommy John elbow surgery that forced him to miss the 2002 season. He pitched in eight games, all in relief and had a 7.36 ERA with 12 strikeouts.

2000-2001(Freshman- Sophomore): Justin played two seasons at Linn-Benton College in Albany, Oregon and was considered the 15th best junior college baseball prospect by Baseball America in 2001. He went 5-5 with a 2.50 ERA as a sophomore and 4-3 with a 1.04 ERA in 2000 en route to all-conference honors. He was drafted in the 29th round of the amateur draft by the Texas Rangers.

High School: He played four sports at Pendleton High and was a BATS All-American in 1999 as a pitcher/third baseman. He also lettered in soccer at goalie,as a tight end in football and at shooting guard in basketball.
