Biography

2004 (Senior): Bergsagel looks to be the Aggies? top left handed long reliever out of the bullpen.

2003 (Junior): Kent pitched 13 innings and made 10 appearances. He started the season allowing just one earned run in his first four appearances. Kent earned a save by working a hitless inning in the Aggies? 9-6 win over Drexel. In his first appearance as an Aggie, Bergsagel allowed just one hit over 1.1 innings in a 9-6 win over Portland on February 9. He gave up only one hit and struck out one while allowing no runs in two innings of relief at UT San Antonio on March 12. He pitched in three Sun Belt Conference contests, but saw action just once from April 18 until the end of the season.

2002-01 (Freshman-Sophomore): Bergsagel compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.74 ERA at Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Washington as a sophomore. He struck out 38 and walked just three in 55 innings, helping Edmonds to a 35-13 record.

High school: Bergsagel was an honorable mention all-state pick at Cascade High School in Everett, Washington.

Personal: Kent was born in Spokane, Washington and is the son of Joel and June Bergsagel. He is majoring in Management.
