Junior: Snowley
played in 41 games for NM State in 2011, starting 26 of them. He started nine games at first base, 11 at
third base and six as the designated hitter.
Snowley finished the season with a .315 batting average, 34 hits
including five doubles and one home run and 16 RBIs. While playing first and third base Snowley
amassed 78 putouts, 31 assists and a .908 fielding percentage.
During a two-game stretch against San Jose State (April
15-16), Snowley had a total of five hits in nine plate appearances and had
three RBIs while scoring four runs.
Snowley also had a four-game hitting streak which started against
Seattle University (April 30) and continued for three games against Sacramento
State (May 7-8). He also had a big
pinch-hit single against Hawai'i (May 19).
Red-shirt Junior: Snowley did not play in 2010 and
took a red-shirt season with the Aggies.
Junior College: Snowley played second base for Mt.
Hood College in Gresham, Ore., before joining the Aggies. While with the
Saints, Snowley and the Saints finished third in the conference in 2009. He
earned first team all-league recognition as well as Gold Glove second baseman.
During the 2008 season, the Saint finished fourth in the conference.
High School: Snowley graduated from Rex Putnam High
School in Milwaukie, Ore. He received first team all-league honors as a senior
while ending the season with a .500 batting average. Snowley was named to the
second team all-state I 2007 as well. During his junior season, he held a
hitting average of .540 and was named first team all-league and second team
all-state.
Personal: Snowley is the son of Glen and Mary
Snowley and he has one brother, Luke Snowley. He is pursuing a degree in Individualized Studies.
