Biography

Freshman (2014): Rutherford redshirted during the 2014 season. 

High School: Rutherford graduated in 2013 from Frenship High School located in Wolfforth, Texas, in the Lubbock area.  He earned four baseball letters as a pitcher for the Tigers.  Frenship also won a district championship in three of the four years Rutherford was on the team.  He was an all-district pitcher during his sophomore and junior years and finished his Tiger pitching career with a 20-11 record.

Personal: Rutherford is the son of Ross and Loretta Rutherford and was born in Columbus, Ga.  He is majoring in business while at NM State and enjoys hunting during his free time.
