High School:  In 2005-2006, Cassell was a outfielder and pitcher for the Midwest City High School Bombers.  He made all-conference in 2006.

 

Personal:  Matt was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma and is the son of Ron and Donna Cassell.  He is undecided in a major.
