Junior College: Vancour was a pitcher on the Navarro Junior College squad that won the NJCAA National Championship in 2011.  Before that he was on the rosters at Hill Junior College and Barton Junior College.

High School: Van Cour is a 2008 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas.

Personal: Van Cour was born in San Antonio, Texas and is majoring in business management.  His mother is Erin Marshall and is step-father is Joe Marshall.
