2017 (Sophomore): Saw action in 11 games with two starts…Went 4-for-13 (.308) at the plate with five runs scored…First collegiate home run came against Mount Saint Mary’s on February 25…Went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in a start at New Mexico (May 2).

2016 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games with seven starts during his Freshman campaign...Hit .143 (3-for-21) with a double and an RBI...First career hit came on March 13 at Baylor...Earned a start on March 15 at Arizona and went 1-for-4 with an RBI double.

High School: Hard hitting infielder for Oñate High School…2015 NMAA 6A South Player of the Year…Second-team All-State…First-Team All-district…2015 District Champion…Hit .480 with three home runs and 41 RBI in 2015.

Personal: Born Roman Julian Trujillo in Las Cruces, N.M….Son of Ruben Trujillo and Edith Oluvas…Has a sister, Celeste…Majoring in Performance Psychology.
