New Mexico State University Athletics

Junior (2013): Noyer played in 29 games for the Aggies in 2013.  He had 12 starts on the season, seven of which were behind the plate.  Noyer also had starts at first base and left field.  He finished with an overall batting average of .235, but improved his average to .278 in 10 WAC games played.  Noyer finished the season with 12 hits, 10 runs scored and four RBIs.  He had two hits and scored three runs, both season highs, in a WAC matchup versus San Jose State (May 3).

Prior to NM State: Noyer played catcher and outfield for Chemeketa Community College under coach Nate Pratt in the 2011 season prior to coming to NM State.  Noyer was selected first team All-NWACCS and second team All-Northwest while at Chemeketa.  He also played in the summer for the Portland baseball club and helped his team make it to the Babe Ruth World Series.  Prior to Chemeketa, Noyer redshirted at Western Oregon University for the 2010 season.

High School: Noyer played baseball and football at Beaverton High School.  He played catcher for his baseball team and helped his team reach the state playoffs in all three years he was a member of the varsity squad.  He was selected all-league in his junior and senior season and was selected as an Under Armour Preseason All-American.  Noyer was also selected to the Northwest baseball championships all-star team.  Noyer also found success on the football field as he played varsity football for two seasons and helped the team reach the semifinals in the state tournament.

Personal: Noyer is the son of Mike and Nanci Noyer and is from Portland, Ore.  He is majoring in individual studies at NM State.
