Biography

High School: Bloom played baseball for the Palmdale High School Falcons under coach Mesler. He helped the Falcons to a third place finish in the Golden League Conference in 2005.  The Falcons had an 18-7 team record and won the Golden League Conference in 2006.  The following year the team placed second in the conference, and Bloom had a 6-0 record in the league.  During his sophomore year, Bloom had a batting average of .500, eight homeruns, posted 37 RBI, and had 15 stolen bases and 14 walks.  During Blooms junior year his batting average increased to .656, had four home runs, posted 52 RBI, had 27 stolen bases, and 26 walks.  In 2007, his batting average was .471, had five home runs, posted 34 RBI, had 23 stolen bases, and 21 walks.  For his accomplishments, Bloom was named to the first-team All-League in the 2005 and 2006 seasons.  He was also named to the first-team All-State baseball team in 2006 and second-team All-State team in 2007.  Bloom was named to the first-team All-Area in 2005 and 2006, and second-team All-Area in 2007.  He was awarded Most Valuable Player for his efforts in the 2007 season.  Bloom played in the Larry Lake All-Star game, as well as the City vs. Southern Selection All-Star game.

 

Personal:  Bloom was born in West Hills, California and is the son of Rick and Suzette Bloom. He is studying Kinesiology.
