Junior: Reynoso was one of only three players to play in 60 of NM State's 61 games in 2009. He was fifth on the team in batting average (.370), fifth in runs scored (56), third in hits (85), tied for third in RBI (68), fifth in home runs (11) and tied for second in doubles (16). Reynoso was also ninth in the Western Athletic Conference in total bases (138). He tallied a season-high seven at-bats against Houston-Baptist (5/1) as he went 4-of-7 at the dish with a run scored. He was the first Aggie to hit a home run in the 2009 season on a day when he was 2-of-4 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored to lead the NM State to a 15-4 victory over North Dakota (2/20). Versus Chicago State (3/1), Reynoso was a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBI leading the way to a 20-4 win. He had another 2-for-2 day with two walks, two runs scored and two RBI in a 24-12 win over San Francisco (3/20). Although NM State fell 12-10 to Hawai'i (4/24) Reynoso put in a valiant effort going 3-of-5 at the plate with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. During the conference tournament, Reynoso led the way to a 10-9 win over San Jose State (5/23) putting in a 2-for-5 day with a double, two RBI and crossing the plate twice himself.
Junior College: Reynoso attended Canada College in Redwood City, Calif. Reynoso received first team all-league and All American honors as a sophomore. He also helped his team to third place league finishes in 2007-08. He earned a batting average of .357 and 56 hits in his sophomore season.
High School: Reynoso went to Sequoia High School in Redwood City, Calf. where he was a four-year varsity starter. He helped his team to second place league finishes three years in a row, and broke the streak with a first place finish during his senior season in 2006. Reynoso was named team and league Most Valuable Player in 2005-06. He also played football for Sequoia High.
Personal: Reynoso is the son of Sammy Reynoso and JoAnn Gann and was born in Redwood City, Calif. He is majoring in kinesiology.
