High School: Led his team to the 2013 5A New Mexico State Championship at Rio Rancho High School…Named Top 25 High School baseball teams by Baseball America.

Personal: Born Zakariah Vernal Felix on Sept. 28, 1994 in Las Cruces, N.M….Son of former NM State Aggie Lauro Felix and Kelli Dominguez…Has a brother, Larry Anthony, and a sister, Jovanni…Father, Lauro, played 13 years in Minor League Baseball in the Milwaukee Brewers and Oakland Athletics organizations…Godson of former MLB All-Star Mike Cameron…Majoring in Criminal Justice.
