2013 (Junior): Dean had 11 receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown during the 2013 season while playing tight end in all 12 games.  He averaged 9.2 yards a catch.  Leading all tight ends in yards, Dean had a career-high six receptions against No. 15 Texas (Aug. 31) and a career-high 33 yards against Louisiana (Nov. 2).  He also played on the Aggies kicking units.
2012 (Sophomore): Dean played in all 12 games for the Aggies at tight end and on special teams.  Dean helped block for the kick returners who totaled 951 return yards on the season.  He had one assisted tackle against Idaho (Oct. 6).
2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Dean was a member of NM State special teams in 2011. He helped block for kick returner Taveon Rogers, who finished second in the nation in all-purpose yards per game and who broke the school record for kick returns, kick return yardage and kick returns for a touchdown. He had one tackle on the season against UTEP (Sept. 17).
2010 (Freshman): Dean redshirted for the Aggies in 2010.
High School: Dean attended Adolfo High School in Camarillo, Calif.  In 2009, Dean helped his team earn a 10-2 record and a league championship.  Dean had 27 catches for 900 yards during his senior year.  In 2009, Dean was named to the All-Pacific View League team.  Dean also received the honor of All-Academic Ventura County.
Personal: Dean is the son of Geoff and Marlene Dean.  He plans to major in business management.
