2012 (Redshirt Junior): Edwards played in eight games for the Aggies on special teams.  He recorded two tackles on the season. Edwards was named Academic All-WAC for fall 2012.
2011 (Junior): Edwards redshirted in 2011.
Antelope Valley College: Edwards was a starting defensive back during his two years at Antelope Valley College. During his sophomore season in 2010, Edwards was a team captain. He had 43 tackles and four interceptions as well as five pass break-ups.  Edwards was named first team all-conference and all-state defensive back. He was also the team MVP. As a freshman, Edwards helped the team to a conference championship. He had 25 tackles and three pass break-ups.
High School: Edwards played four years of football for Highland High School at the defensive back and wide receiver positions. As a senior, he helped his team to the first round of the state playoffs, collecting 74 tackles and four interceptions, while grabbing two catches for 19 yards. He was a team captain and a second team all-league member and was selected to play in the H.D.F.C.A. All-Star game. As a junior, Edwards was named an honorable mention all-league pick catching four passes for 52 yards and collecting 30 tackles.
Personal: Edwards is the son of Derek and Tara Edwards. He is majoring in individualized studies.
