2012 (Junior): Shay did not play, but was a member of the offensive scout team in 2012.
West Texas A&M:  Brennon Shay spent one year at West Texas AM helping them to a Lone Star Conference Championship.
High School: Shay graduated from Piedra Vista High School located in Farmington, N.M., in 2009 where he played wide receiver and quarterback.  In his Junior year, Shay racked up over 1,200 yards receiving and more than 10 touchdowns.  As a Senior, Shay moved to quarterback and recording 1,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing.  Throughout his time in high school, Shay earned many awards including District 1-4A All-Academic, second team all-distict, first team all-district, second team all-state, and 4A North All-Star.  He also played two seasons of baseball as an outfielder, where he earned first team all-district and first team all-state.
Personal:  Brennon Shay is the son of Brian Shay and June Shay.  He is majoring in biology.
