Biography

2012 (Junior): Chapman-Brown played in all 12 games for the Aggies as a punter in the 2012 season.  He was named a second team All-WAC selection in 2012, while being named the WAC Special Teams Player of the Week once during the season. He had a record-setting year as well as he found his way into the record books in several categories.  Chapman-Brown had 70 punts on the season, which ties him for eighth with Cliff Olander in number of punts in a season.  He totaled 3,099 yards punting which put him at fifth in punting yards in a season.  He also averaged 44.3 yards per punt, which ranks first in punting average in a season.  He had 19 punts go over 50 yards in 2012.  Chapman-Brown had 22 of his punts land inside the opponent’s 20 yard-line while only punting four touchbacks.  He had three games where he had a punt of over 60 yards. Against Sacramento State (Aug. 30), he set his career high for longest punt at 63. He punted the ball 61 yards against San Jose State (Nov. 10) and 62 yards against BYU (Nov. 24). Chapman-Brown was named an Academic All-WAC selection for his efforts in the classroom.
Snow College: Chapman-Brown played one season at Snow College as the team’s starting punter. He played in 12 games for Snow College, booting 53 punts for 2,296 yards, while averaging 43.3 yards a punt. Chapman-Brown’s season-long was 68 yards. He was named a first team All-Western States Football League and an honorable mention NJCAA All-American. He ranked as the No. 3 punter in the country by Chris Sailer Kicking.
Notre Dame College: Chapman-Brown spent one season at Notre Dame College, as the team’s punter. He tallied 24 punts on the year for 974 yards, averaging 40.6 yards a punt with a long of 79 yards. He was named the NAIA Independent Special Team Player of the Week on Sept. 27, 2010.
High School: Prior to college, he played high school football in Australia and was an all-state athletic representative.
Personal: Chapman-Brown is the son of Jennifer Chapman-Brown. He is majoring in individualized studies.
