Biography

2012 (Junior): Roberts played in 11 games for the Aggies on special teams and on the defensive line in 2012.  Roberts blocked for all 30 PAT attempts and six field goal attempts on the season.  He also recorded one tackle against UTEP (Sep. 15). Roberts was named Academic All-WAC for fall 2012.
2011 (Sophomore): Roberts played in four games for NM State on special teams. He helped block for kick returner Taveon Rogers who finished second in the nation in all-purpose yards per game and who broke the school record for kick returns, kick return yardage and kick returns for a touchdown. Roberts also blocked on field goal and PATs.
2010 (Redshirt Freshman):  Roberts did not play for the Aggies in 2010.
2009 (Freshman): Roberts redshirted his freshman year at NM State.
High School: Roberts played defensive end and tight end for Aggies football legend Denvis Manns at Los Lunas High School. He was named first team all-district, all-metro second team and all-metro academic team. Roberts also played in the North-South All-Star game. In 2008, Roberts tallied 67 tackles, 12 sacks, three quarterback hurries, three blocked punts and two block field goals.
Personal: Roberts is the son of Jerry and Denise Roberts. He plans to major in fishery biology while at NM State.
