2014 (Senior)
Played in 11 games and made one start… Accumulated 28 tackles with 10 unassisted and 18 assisted tackles… Collected a season-high eight tackles with a season-best six unassisted tackles at Arkansas State (Nov. 29)… Also had one tackle for loss and one interception at Arkansas State.

2013 (Redshirt Junior)
Played in 10 games at linebacker… Recorded 67 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss… Racked up a season-high 20 tackles against UTEP (Sept. 14) to earn Independent Defensive Player of the Week… Had six games with at least eight tackles… Snatched his first career interception against No. 15 Texas (Aug. 31)… Garnered his first career sack against No. 13 UCLA (Sept. 21)… Honored as a First Team Capital One Academic All-District VII selection.

2012 (Sophomore)
Was a member of the defensive scout team while he redshirted.

Prep
Played linebacker for Melrose HS… Helped team to state championships as both a junior and a senior with perfect 13-0 records both seasons… Selected as an All-State pick as a junior and senior on both offense and defense… Played in the North-South All-Star game junior and senior year… Played basketball and was a Second Team All-State selection.

Son of Chris and Connie Barnard… Major is bio-chemistry.
