Jacob Lemming

Jacob Lemming joins the New Mexico State football staff as a defensive graduate assistant for the 2018 season.

Lemming comes to the City of Crosses after a pair of coaching stints that followed a decorated FBS football career. He recently served as the tight ends coach at Benedictine University before joining the Aggies.

Prior to his work at Benedictine, Lemming served as an assistant coach at Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, Ohio for the 2017 season. While on the staff, Lemming coached the inside wide receivers and cornerbacks. He also helped assist with game plan preparation and on game day was in charge of signaling offensive plays for the teams skill players.

Before joining the coaching ranks, Lemming was a defensive back at Bowling Green State University. As a member of the Falcons, he helped the team capture the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championship taking down Northern Illinois before advancing to the GoDaddy Bowl against Georgia Southern.

Lemming graduated from Bowling Green in 2017 with a Communications Degree.
