Suited up in ten games for the Aggies en route to their Quick Lane Bowl win over Bowling Green… Made 27 tackles (fourth-most among 2023 returnees), adding 1.5 tackles for loss including a sack… Posted a career-high six tackles in his season debut against Big Ten opponent Minnesota… Recorded four tackles in the Aggies’ resounding home win over Hawai’i… Recorded a pair of tackles and a pass breakup against SEC opponent Missouri… Tallied a pair of tackles and a sack in NM State’s home finale against Valparaiso

2021 SEASON: 
Recorded seven tackles in three appearances for the Aggies … Notched a season-high four tackles in the season opener against UTEP … In Albuquerque, Kirklin logged three tackles against New Mexico … Only appeared in the first three games of the season.

2020-21 SEASON:
• Season was limited to just two contests due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Converted 14 total tackles including six solo tackles
• His 14 total tackles were the second-most on the Aggies 2021 Spring roster
• Contributed an identical seven tackles against both Tarleton St. (Feb. 21) and Dixie St. (Mar. 7).

2019 SEASON (Sophomore at Holmes CC):
• Led the team in total tackles (60), pass breakups (8) and interceptions (2) in nine games
• Recorded a pass breakup in six games, including in each of the final four contests.

2018 SEASON (Freshman at Holmes CC):
• Logged 12 total tackles in eight games
• Recorded his first career interception against Mississippi Delta (Oct. 20).

High School
• Played two season of varsity for Coach Kenneth Nelson at Holmes County HS
• Lined up on both sides of the football, seeing action at wide receiver and defensive back
• Logged 29 total tackles and three interception in his career
• Also added 13 career receptions for 258 yards and two scores.
