Biography

2012 (Redshirt Junior): Morrison played in all 12 games for the Aggies at running back, starting seven games in the 2012 season.  Morrison was the team’s leading rusher in 2012 and led the team with 159 rushing attempts, 767 rushing yards and 63.9 rushing yards per game.  Morrison also scored two rushing touchdowns on the season.  Morrison earned his first career-start against Idaho (Oct. 6), where he ran the ball 16 times for 66 yards.  In his second start against Utah State (Oct. 20), Morrison set a career high with 19 rushing attempts for 96 yards.  Morrison started the last seven games of the season for the Aggies and ran for double-digit attempts in each game as well as rushing for 50 yards or more in every start.  Morrison saved his best for last when the Aggies played Texas State (Dec. 1), where Morrison ran the ball 19 times for a career-high 123 yards, including a 51 yard run, and scored a touchdown.  Morrison was named Academic All-WAC for fall 2012.
2011 (Junior): Morrison redshirted in 2011 after suffering a season-ending injury in fall camp.
LA Valley College: Morrison played two seasons at LA Valley College at the running back position. In 2010, he led the Monarchs to a 6-4 record, leading the team in rushing with 817 yards, scoring 10 touchdowns, while averaging 4.9 yards a carry and 81.7 yards a game. Morrison also caught 13 passes for 131 yards and one touchdown. He also led the team in scoring with 66 points on the year. Morrison was unanimous selection to the first team Southern California Football Association, Pacific Conference and an All-California Community College, Region VI. As a freshman, Morrison rushed for 347 yards and three touchdowns, while grabbing nine passes for 76 yards, averaging 8.1 yards per catch. He scored one receiving touchdown.
High School: Morrison played four seasons for Monroe High School at running back and defensive back. As a senior, Morrison helped his team to a 7-4 overall record and a second-place finish in league. He was named an all-league and all-city selection while being named the league MVP. Morrison tallied 1,400 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns, while posting 45 tackles and two interceptions. As a junior, Morrison was named an all-league selection after rushing for over 500 yards and seven touchdowns, while grabbing 25 tackles and two interceptions.
Personal: Morrison is the son of Crafton Morrison and Cecile Folkes. He plans to major in individualized studies at NM State.
